Esta bonita labor también tiene su día, a veces no valoramos suficientemente el trabajo de las personas que trabajan cuidando a otras, entre esos comúnmente personas mayores.
El 5 de noviembre de cada año se celebra el Día Internacional de las Personas que cuidan de otros. Los cuidadores constituyen un recurso de gran valor, pero a la vez muy vulnerable, ya que el compromiso de cuidar tiene, por lo general, importantes costes emocionales, de salud, familiares, económicos y sociales para quienes se dedican al cuidado de forma intensa y continuada. En este aspecto influye mucho el personal de la salud como las enfermeras tanto en hospitales, clínicas y cama adentro en algún hogar. Una labor linda y de esfuerzo.
