Día mundial del Urbanismo
#yoorsnovember Cada 8 de noviembre se celebra el día mundial del Urbanismo. Aunque parezca una conmemoración insignificante este día se pretende recordar acciones necesarias para el bien común como el aumento de parques y zonas recreativas, la remodelación de algunas áreas ciudadanas, la terminación de obras de desarrollo urbano, la descongestión de zonas superpobladas y aquellas medidas que disminuyan la contaminación del aire y del agua.
Para ello, se requiere la colaboración de todos los habitantes; porque sin la participación de todos no es posible mantener la ciudad limpia, ordenada, saludable y bien cuidada, entonces es a través del urbanismo que se planifican los diseños que mejoren la calidad de vida de las personas.
Todo empezó en 1934, cuando el urbanista Ingeniero Carlos Maria della Paolera, primer catedrático de Urbanismo en Argentina y ex-director de Instituto de Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires elaboró el símbolo con colores referentes al aire,a la vegetación y al sol.
En 1949 por iniciativa del mismo urbanista se creó el Día Mundial del Urbanismo, su celebración quedó a cargo de la Organización Internacional del Día Mundial del Urbanismo, y se celebra en más de 30 países de cuatro continentes .

I like what you post! And this date should not go under the table because we feel good in the space we inhabit is very important, not only government authorities but the organized community must strive to make a nice urban planning.
