In 2019, UNESCO approved the initiative presented by representatives of Lebanon and Tunisia to celebrate the Day of the Olive Tree every November 26.

The olive tree is a tree that represents wisdom, harmony and peace worldwide. The purpose of this celebration is to promote its protection and conservation, it represents a means of sustainability for the peoples who cultivate it. The oil extracted from its fruits is very healthy and in demand all over the world. This ancient tree has been present in different cultures such as the Egyptian and the Greek, which have exalted its benefits and benefits.

En el 2019 la UNESCO aprobo la iniciativa presentada por representantes del Libano y Túnez para celebrar cada 26 de noviembre el día del Olivo.

El olivo es un árbol que representa a nivel mundial la sabiduría, la armonía y la paz, tal celebración tiene por finalidad promover su protección y conservación, representa un medio de sustentabilidad para los pueblos que lo cultivan. El aceite extraído de sus frutos es muy saludable y demandado en todo el mundo. Este árbol milenario ha estado presente en distintas culturas como la egipcia y la griega, las cuales ha exaltado sus beneficios y bondades.
