Your heart poem + piano music
A STORY
Dancing in Harmony
Where a poem and piano play come together
Madeleine Bosch
In 2014 I started writing poems. So is the poem Your heart. It appeared in a collection of poems that was also released in 2014.
First of all, it was meant to be a personal processing of a difficult time that I had gone through.
Initially I wasn't supposed to do anything with it, but I missed something with this poem. It felt more like a song to me.
I play a little piano and then one day I just decided to play some free.
It got more and more shape and it became a song.
Whether the lyrics are completely synchronous on the music, I don't know.
That wasn't my first requirement.
It was a feeling. I had a strong feeling that this music should sound like this with this lyrics.
Now the circle is round.
I recently taped him and put him on video.
Here and there maybe a slight hitch, but good enough and the daring to show it.
I see it as a process I've been through, and with this song the circle is round, as I just said.
I believe very strongly in the music and processing of things.
But also in the creative challenge that lies there.
Even if you're not a professional musician, it doesn't matter. The fact that you are challenged is already super fun! So when I listen to the music, I have more instruments that I hear in my mind that could still sound through the piano playing. I know exactly how it's gonna sound, hahaha. When I play the song I always hear those instruments in my mind, even though they are not live at all. Is that creative? Yeah, I guess so, huh hahaha.
So yes this tastes like more and there are more sounds in my head, so who knows what else will happen.
I'm going on adventure with myself.
Below I post the blog I posted at the time of the poem.
Some of you have read it before.
And I'll post the video here so you can listen to it.
