I had on #pinterest found a recipe that I wanted to try out once: #zeeuwsekaneelkoekjes . And I really love #kaneel . The (soft) cookies are very tasty in taste. I had never liked the combination #kaneelenhoning , but now I'm going to use this together more often. (In the picture you do not see all the cookies, there are already a few 'disappeared'...) From the recipe of #kookfans I was able to get 23 cookies.

Here's what you need for the cookies:

250 grams of self-rising baking flour
150 grams of butter or margarine
3 tablespoons of liquid honey
70 grams of brown baster sugar
5 grams of ground cinnamon (three to four teaspoons)
pinch of salt
1 beaten egg

Let the butter come to room temperature for a while and then cut it into cubes. Add the other ingredients (from the egg you use half) and knead (can be done by hand) into a nice dough. Divide the dough in half and make two rolls. Wrap these rolls in plastic and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put a sheet of baking paper on the baking sheet and cut biscuits a centimeter thick. I decorated some cookies with an almond myself. Place the cookies (with enough space between them) on the baking paper (I used two baking trays in total). Paint them with the rest of the beaten egg. Slide the baking tray into the oven (slightly below the middle). Bake the cookies in fifteen minutes until cooked.

Let the cookies cool down well, before you taste them (it's hard, I know, the cookies smell really delicious).
