Zulianas bagpipes..

#music Today I will talk about two types of Zuliana bagpipes, both with the same African origin, but two from different regions of Zulia state.
Researcher Juan de Dios Martínez says that bagpipe songs arise from the work of women in the pylon or when they were washing their clothes in the river.

Tambora bagpipe: is an Afro Venezuelan tradition of the villages of the eastern coast of Lake Maracaibo. It consists of a fixed refrain that gives its name to the piece, in quartets or sextects with different syllabic combinations, is singed by a choir and alternates with the verses of the soloist.

It is accompanied by two drums, which is called drums and drums, the first large and lower and the second smaller and sharper.
They are joined by a large maraca that marks the bars, a four and often a clarinet is incorporated.

Bagpipe Perijanera: it is a demonstration with dancistic, musical and religious elements in honor of San Benito de Palermo, to fulfill the devotion of the black saint or for favors of miracles granted.
