Today a simple, but not so beloved thistle. From 1987 to 2017, you had to remove this plant in Belgium, especially because of the puncture wounds they could cause and thus increased risk of tetanus contamination. In roadside, however, they give beautiful colors. They contain a lot of nectar, which benefits the bees and butterflies. They are still banned near fields.
