Venus, goddess of love, sat in silence. She trusted a fair ruling.

Humans were soon to wake up from their disquiet sleep and search the skies for her, their Morningstar. She would answer their call, showing herself, but would only strecht her hand to that Shepherd and to his contemplative sheeps.

Goddess Diana, indifferent to love and fierce hunter, sat at the other side of the table. Neither had she spoken, in spite of her fiery look.

Her hunting dogs stood by her, as quiet and still as the bow and the quiver on her knees.
