                                                                                The Giant Good Friend (2016)

Synopsis:

Adaptation of the book “The Great Good-natured Giant” by British writer Roald Dahl.
Tell the exciting story of a little girl from London (Ruby Barnhill) and a mysterious giant (Mark Rylance) who will teach her the wonders and dangers of Giant Land.

Review:

In person I liked it quite a lot. I thought it was a good adaptation of the famous Steven Spielberg. It is a fantastic film that is worth redundancy creates a fantastic world in the film environment (adding elements comparable to 'E.T.', 'Close Encounters of the Third Type' and 'Artificial Intelligence'.

The film is very human even though it is a fantasy world, that is also what the film is about, appearances are deceiving and that we must learn to accept others. The film is not boring despite slowing down in some parts and that which lasts two hours, is entertaining from the moment it starts until it practically ends.

On the technical side it is great in every way, from the camera, following for its excellent special effects and ending with the sound, plus it has an excellent animation worth admiring. He has very ingenious and original ideas, with a good photograph that is quite good. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised, highly recommended. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

2.Love and Monsters (2020)

Synopsis:

A young teenager learns to survive in a post-apocalyptic world full of monsters, where he has the help of an expert hunter.

Review:

The film has an apocalyptic atmosphere when it comes to something acceptable, as well as the creatures you see that there was a great deal of work in the area of visual effects and characterization. In the film we have Michael Rooker with a very important character for the protagonist's survival along with actress Ariana Greenblatt where it was seen that they achieved a good trio with Dylan O'Brien (Maze Runner) in the film.

The film itself has a good dose of action as well as some moments of humor, and this plays very well in the final product.
The main protagonist has an excellent evolution as the film progresses, despite being a person who becomes paralyzed when he sees the creatures, he tends to improve this throughout the development of the film. In short, the film is a good product to hang out or enjoy it on a Sunday when you don't have to do anything, and without expecting much from it it comes to surprise you.
