5 Tips On Writing Sketches!
Because I know that the term “comedy skits” does not fall directly to everyone, I will explain it right away. Because I don't mean drawing anything in this case, I mean a video sketch! That is a short humorous play or performance, usually consisting of one scene in a revue or comedy show. That's the literal description of the word “sketch.” I'm going to focus it on writing and making a comic video sketch! So I hope you're interested in making videos or writing little stories, because here come my 10 tips on making sketches! (At the bottom of this blog you can see the video with these 10 tips.)
For convenience I divided this blog into two parts, the first 5 tips are purely about brainstorming and writing such a sketch. And the last 5 tips are about filming this script. The second blog will come online a little later because it's quite a lot of writing work, so be patient! 😊
TIP 1: Write from your own experience.
This is a tip I've been saying to myself for a long time. If you are going to write about something that you have not been able to experience yourself in a similar situation, it is difficult to convey the emotion well. However, this is not impossible. But especially for a novice writer (just like I actually am). It's easier to write about things you know and know.
And if you have chosen a topic, though at first it is very boring for your thought. Then you can write this out and make it a little bigger than it would be. I will explain this even further in a later tip. And for the idea of these 10 tips you could have chosen a topic to start writing about. For example, do the laundry, sit in the office or snack at night.
