Animals crafting from popsicles

Crafting with wooden ice sticks, we love it. You can make so many fun things with it! In combination with colored paper, there's actually nothing you can't make.. This time we chose a zebra, lion, giraffe and a parrot.
The base is the same for all animals: glue 5 sticks together by gluing the sticks with some other (half) sticks together at the back. Once stuck (you have to have some minutes of patience before turning it over) you can start painting.
Of course, there are already colored sticks. But white ones are often not included. We painted the sticks for the zebra with Creall Top Deco Acrylic Paint , which covers nicely in one layer and dries quickly. But another paint can of course also!
The parts are simply cut out of colored paper, the legs are made of chenille wire with wooden beads attached to it. Seeing these examples will you also want to make fun of animals?! We won't stop you! But beware, once you have started, there will be more ideas for other animals and then you will not be able to stop!
For gluing you can use an all slime, or e.g. Creall Coll acrylic glue - Yes. It glues easily and quickly. Also, you could glue with a glue gun, but for young children it's not very convenient because it's hot glue. If you are with older children and there is guidance, then you can also glue with it, then the gluing will go a lot faster.
