Beauty is all about "EMPOWERMENT"

"Makeup shaming" has recently become a big topic, with women being chastised for concealing their natural features with makeup. Women are judged for a multitude of things. While no one should feel prompted or forced to wear makeup, some beauty enthusiasts are tired of being accused of using cosmetics to boost their confidence when it should truly come down to what each individual wants for themselves.
For many years, society has maintained that women are exploited by makeup. There have been countless situations where people have given someone odd looks because they are wearing red lipstick and a lot of highlighters. After all, cosmetics shaming is something that is done without shame, and most people don't even think about it. Most women, on the other hand, wear cosmetics because it empowers them by making them feel more confident and expressive.
We all know that the beauty industry receives a lot of negative press because of cosmetics, but aren't we overlooking the great aspects of beauty? For many women around the world, beauty equates to self-assurance, freedom of expression, and, most significantly, empowerment. Is applying lip gloss or lipstick another method of expressing dissatisfaction with what God has given you? Makeup gives women the ability to present themselves in whatever way they want. When we take time out of our hectic schedules to practice self-care, we feel more confident and fantastic. Taking the time to care for yourself can have a huge impact. Consider a period when you felt terrific because you looked your best.
Our self-worth is inextricably linked to our self-assurance. Girls are almost ashamed to admit they like makeup these days because when you say you like makeup, you're either trying to appear good for boys, you're insecure, or you don't love yourself. But, to be honest, not everyone's definition of makeup is the same. It's a decision we make based on how we want to think.
What could be more empowering than feeling good about yourself? Beauty makes you feel good about yourself, it helps you feel like your genuine self, and what could be more empowering than that? Some may believe that cosmetics empower women since women have become more reliant on makeup to hide their shortcomings rather than expressing their true selves and natural beauty. However, studies suggest that people with skin conditions gain emotions from wearing cosmetics and that purchasing beauty products demonstrates that they are concerned about their well-being.
