Any cook will agree... herbs and spices are extremely important in the kitchen and I'm not just talking about salt and pepper...

The basis is of course important but with a little smoked paprika powder or a pinch of cinnamon, a hint of breed el hanout or a sprig of rosemary, a scoop of tarragon or some chives you can turn a dish into a real taste sensation... or how about a little lavender or a leaf of Laurel... Delicious, right?

Very nice all but meanwhile my kitchen cupboard is bulging out of the herbs and there is little left of a logical arrangement... My chaotic head also ensures that I already have 3 different jars of some herbs and from other herbs every trace is missing... So it's time for a thorough cleaning up of my closet and an inventory of what I have in herbs or no longer have...
