Seriously, I think the awesome and smart scientist are breaking their heads about this. In the world of #ai this is the big next thing. Quite a few are arguing that the self or consciousness is even not something biological. Scientists cannot find or locate... Show more
The computer is programmed by a human. He gets everything he says from the internet. But can't have feelings.
The computer can follow rules, but the real feeling is missing. I have yet to meet the first funny computer, there are plenty of jokes about computers.
My gut says it's not possible, but I don't know exactly how that works in technology or what could be possible.
The fact that AI is not intelligence is also evident from the fact that no communication with the system is possible. With real intelligence, you can argue. That's not possible with an algorithm: you have to point that out your subjects or it's place.
