Can you just accept a chronic illness?

A disease that can't be cured, but you can grow up to 100, is that acceptable?

It seems so easy, if it doesn't bother you, but if it happens to you, the story will change. When I heard that the diagnosis was Crohn's disease, I was all over my mind. No, I didn't, I couldn't. I didn't want to. But I couldn't get around it, it was. I never got better! Only the thought of that, once again caused stress, abdominal pain and a flare of the disease.

Ik heb ook een chronische ziekte en heb het geaccepteerd, u bent een sterke vrouw en kan dat ook. Maak er iets moois van het leven.
het heeft bij mij 10 jaar geduurd voor er enige acceptatie was en nog steeds struikel ik er over. Heb nu 20 jaar deze ziekte...
