Chestnut Autumn Spiders
Crafting spiders, all the kids love it. With their furry long legs, they seem a little scary. That's exciting, but still they're cute and it makes you happy. These spiders are made of chenille wire (pipe carriers) and a wild chestnut. With a puncture pen you can easily pierce holes in the chestnut, so that the legs remain stuck in it.

For children it is very nice to decorate the legs. You can do that with regular (drinking) straws! The children can cut the colored straws into small pieces and string them around the legs. But of course you can also string iron beads, or just nice beads. Stick wiggle eyelets with glue and make a loop of wire so that the spider can hang.
These funny spiders were made by Marlin and her granddaughter. A cheerful lot, don't you think?
