Since 1955

Since 1955, the children's book week has been an annual “week”. Now in 2022, it is from Wednesday 5 October to Sunday 16 October. The children's book week is to promote the children's book in the Dutch language. During this week, participating bookstores will present the Children's Book Week Gift when spending at least €1250. 

So schools, libraries and bookstores are enthusiastically participating in this week to get as many children as possible to read. Every year, a theme is devised for the children's book week. This year is dedicated to GigaGroen.

So all books can be read that are green. There are many to name. I can do that, of course, but I'm actually really curious about the books you know?

I would love it if you end up creating a nice list that could be used as a book list for the children's book week. Then it really is a source of information for people who come here to search Yoors.!
