After his conversion, Chris ten Hart is growing over his past bullying past. Throughout the Alpha course, forgiveness appears to be the key to recovery. In part 3, we read how this fictional story continues.

This Alpha course is a special one; for me too. With these words, pastor René opens the closing evening of the course. It all started in a special way, when Jos and Chris forgave each other. Lives have changed from the start and I really enjoy that as a pastor. But there is also a big party in heaven.

As you know by now, Easter is the feast of the Resurrection. On Good Friday, we celebrate, remember Jesus' suffering and death. Crucifixion was an incredibly painful torture, in which human life flowed excruciatingly slowly. And that's what the only Man who was ever sinless all his life had and was left for us. He did that for you and me. Do you know what that means ?

And do you also know what it means that He rose from the dead? He overcame Satan, grabbed the keys to the dead, went in there and plundered everything Satan had robbed. Joy, peace, happiness, health, hope, love and all that stuff

He is the Christ, the Messiah, our Savior and Savior. He is our Way to the Father, through death. And thanks to His victory on the cross, we can now approach the throne of God the Father directly. After all, it was not for nothing that the veil in the temple was torn!
