City center hotel Reykjavik Iceland = NO service
I was supposed to fly to Iceland today and had booked at the above hotel for the first night.
The storm cancelled the flight and moved to tomorrow. I hope that works!
You'd say this is force majeure and a hotel is working a little bit to receive you the next day.
I just called just to make sure.
A very correct gentleman assured me that I can get the rambam and that my overnight stay is booked and paid, but that tomorrow I just have to pay the full pound.
My first and not a single night in Iceland will ever take place in this hotel!
I publish this entry in 21 languages that can be on Yoors (!) and am also curious if you, as a fellow traveler, have a similar experience?

Niet echt klantvriendelijk, overmacht wordt blijkbaar geen rekening meegehouden in dit geval.
Het is een hotelketen met vestigingen in diverse landen. Ik weet het niet zeker, maar volgens mij is dat de Meininger Group.
Ik zou een mail sturen naar hun hoofdkwartier.
