Coachella will be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The location is about a three-hour drive from Los Angeles. Most people live in nearby Palm Springs having an airport, more hotels and more going on than Indio itself. However, this year the event was delayed in March 2020. The organizers of the event tried to push the festival into October 2020, but the ongoing epidemic of COVID-19 led to the cancellation of eventually. It is the first time Coachella had been permanently canceled in 20 years. Owing to AEG, Coachella was rescheduled again in April 2021 before being canceled again in January 2021 due to ongoing coronavirus concerns.
COVID vaccination:
In October, the Coachella festival declared that they no longer need the full immunization of visitors for the 2022 event. The Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, and Travis Scott are not included in the list due to some reasons.
