One of the Top 10 picture books of 2021 is De Jongen den de whale by Linde Faas (publishing house Lemniscaat) It is read by the whole of the Netherlands during the Voorleesdagen! In the book, the boy finds out that it is very nice to have a friend, to play with, to explore together and to marvel with. A beautiful moving book, also nice to read with children who are moving or going to have important events/changes in their lives.

It is very nice to have a real whale while reading, of course with the real boy from the book on his back. So we're going to tinker them here!
