Crafting chestnuts
Have you been in the woods and grabbed a bag full of chestnuts? Super! Of course, you can now craft all kinds of things.! Below are a few tips for crafting what to do with the chestnuts found. Examples of dolls and animals, wreaths, cobwebs, etc can be found below.
Toddlers could also let you create a simple line game. Put some lines on coloured leaves and the toddlers can follow the lines and lay the chestnuts in that shape. It's a very simple activity, yet fun to show here!

These photos were submitted by Jess van Let's Play and Learn from London, she's Nanny there for two children aged 3 and 6. They really enjoyed doing the chestnut line game.!

If you don't want to put your own lines (with a marker) on a sheet, you could also print out these printables.

And now, what can you do and make with chestnuts?

ps Do you have a dog? Because then you have to watch out he doesn't eat acorns or chestnuts! You'll read all about it in the blog of @Marc De Bisschop or have you seen that already?

It's nice to see that you can make so many wonderful things with it.
