Children like to play with clay. It stimulates their motor skills, imagination, and it can help to express themselves better! The clay that was tested today is the SesCreative
About this clay:
Make the most beautiful clay creations with this cheerful clay from SES. This set contains no less than seven colors of clay, a wooden rolling pin and several farm cutters. These cutters are made of recycled plastic from our own residual streams. Because of this, they may differ in color, but they always play equally well! The clay is clear, soft and long usable thanks to the resealable packaging. So you have hours of clay fun. In addition, clay is safe to use, because it is extremely salty, so that children do not eat the clay.
The clay was tested in the nursery shelter of Ineke van der Linde
This morning we played with clay all morning. So that is formless material. So you can do anything! And that's what my very young test panel discovered and experienced today.
Of course, first look at the box together. That's already an experience in itself.
What are nice cheerful colors in. Hey, all buckets.
All figurines. And “this". That's a mini-dough roll. Very suitable for the small hands of this young test panel. Well, the ladies of 1.5 years, 26 months and 3.5 years are in the mood for it.
All first choose a tan to start and discover.
We leave the other buckets nicely in the supplied cardboard holder. So we don't have all the colours mixed up immediately with the first use.
The ladies have already passed that smoothly. New color? Back in bucket.
Bucket in the holder and grab a new bucket with a new color.
The clay is soft and very easy to malleable. Also for the smallest.
Of course I make sure I'm there and supervise. But the clay is extremely salty. So at the 1st attempt to put it in the mouth, the children also let. That's a smart safety.
After all the colors and all shapes have been tried. There snakes are rolled. Spheres are twisted. Shapes in the clay are printed, we are going to put everything back per color in the buckets. The ladies help nicely.
Now the 6 different shapes are still on the table. These are recycled plastic molds from SES own residual streams. Because of this, the colors may differ. It doesn't matter. The more toys from BioPlastic in my shelter the better. The elder says: “Can you also sign!" Yes, I say and I'll let her try. That's still a little difficult. So I draw for her and she helps with coloring. We do this with the MyFirst crayons from SES.
Later in the morning we play in the sand. The shapes also go along. You can also use it in the sand.
We have enjoyed ourselves with this box of SES.
