Cube Lampion making with fun patterns (incl.)
On November 11th, theSaint Martin. Children walk along the doors with a homemade lamp ion and get something tasty. (candy/ mandarins etc) This year it will probably be a bit different because of the virus, but if you can not join it, then you also have super nice light for inside. Then, for example, put a fake waxine light in it.
I came across this fun idea ofMiss Anne-Wil Middle. She is preparing for a lampion for her class early on. Before you offer something, of course, you want to know if it works what you want to do. As a lantern, it has a classic square shape.
A square model with 4 visible sides. You can make these sides of these papers that you will color yourself. These are the sizes approximately: The coloring pages are 18.5 by 18.5 cm. At the cube 20 cm per plane done excl. adhesive edges
Working time indication lantern: the coloring really takes an hour or 2, then you need to paste it + with oil. That's half an hour max. Let it dry for a weekend and then put it together. Oil and glue don't go together so well. You could paste off the edges so that after the oil treatment you still have a sticky edge.
