Cyber stalkers find their victims through various media, such as social networking sites, search engines, online forums, message boards, chat rooms, or via email. These cyber stalkers behave with despicable manners, such as taking over the slanderous character of the victim to harm the reputation, contacting friends and acquaintances of the victim in attempts to falsely accuse with the hope that others oppose their victim times, and/ or creating fictional accusations that have been publicly posted on various social media online. The act of stalking on Facebook (also known as “Facebook stalking”) includes, but is not limited to constantly checking someone's profile page, adding utter strangers as friends to get information about your love interest, log in to your friends' accounts to information, and reading walls of people you do not know.
