Cycling on the Dwingelderveld.
Cycling from visitor centre Ruinen.
Half July we drove by bike on the car to the visitor centre of the Dwingelderveld. If we first had a sanitary stop in the building we can with difficulty tear ourselves away from all the beauty we see around the visitor centre. You can see the blog below.
And then finally after two and a half hours our bike ride starts.
On Google maps we looked which way to go to at least find a ven. But first we go by the sheepfold. And by chance, the herd is inside, because all the sheep have been vaccinated this day.
This group had their own place at the sheepfold.
We continue again on a cycle path over the heath. If I've come across several blue gentians, I'll get off to take some pictures. Actually, you better walk, because then you are more likely to encounter a special flower or animal. I would also like to have a gentian blue for my lens. Unfortunately not this time.
