@Naturefreak asked me to draw a blobfish. Often you see them like a pink pile of blubber in pictures, then they look really great! Great ugly, awesome scary, awesome funny, awesome special, awesome!!
But deep under the sea on the bottom of the sea, where the pressure is very high, the Blobvis (Psychrolutes marcidus) actually looks like a pretty ordinary fish!
Most fish have a swim bladder, but it is not at all efficient at the depth where the Blobfish lives. Instead, it is a pudding-like creature, which saves itself well in its habitat.
They live in the seas near Australia and Tasmania, where unfortunately they often end up in fishermen's trawling nets as by-catch.
