On April 2, 1956, As the World Turns kicks off in America. In no time the soap opera manages to bind a million-dollar audience. When the canvas falls in 2010, it is hard for the fans.
54 years of drama is, of course, a lot. It's funny to think that you and your grandmother have watched this show. Did you know that:

Barbara had in het echt ... Show moreGekeken van 1994 (met kleine onderbreking) tot het einde. Holden en Lily waren hét favoriete koppel, van velen. Met Lily kon ik mij het meest identificeren (behalve vreemdgaan). De scene in de kerktoren is me het meest bijgebleven.
Barbara had in het echt ook tongkanker. Diverse acteurs nog elders gezien op tv. Gwen is de dochter van de hoofdrolspeler van Het kleine Witte Huis op de Prairie (hij leeft niet meer). Vond haar geweldig zingen. En Lily "I can't make you love me.", origineel van Bonnie Ryatt. Prachtig nummer.
