Surgical examination

August 27, the day I was scheduled for an operative follow-up examination because of a PAP3B diagnosis. The smear had caused me so many pains, I really didn't want to have the follow-up examination done on the poli. I was therefore very relieved that there was the possibility of doing the follow-up examination under general anesthesia.

Given the results of the smear, it was decided not only to take biopsies, but also to carry out a small procedure immediately preventively. A lisexcision would be done immediately (removing a piece of the cervix). Of course I thought this was totally fine, since I would be completely unconscious and feel little about it.

On the 27th of August I was allowed to report to the department around the clock at noon. I would be around the clock of 14.30 on the OK program.

As always with surgeries, I was slightly tense. I don't like it, especially the I.V. always poking. Somehow, that's the part that never wants to run nice with me.

@Bij Ann kan niet anders. Daarom schrijf ik het van me af. Ongetwijfeld dat er vrouwen zijn die zich wellicht herkennen in mijn verhaal en hier misschien steun uit putten of??? Iets is al goed.
