Por supuesto, bajo su sombra están todos sus amigos: el perro, el pájaro, el oso y las frutas.
Les cuento un poco de este árbol que se viste de amarillo en estos días.
Fue declarado árbol nacional de Venezuela, el 29 de mayo de 1948. Se puede encontrar por todos lados, en casas o campos, en la ciudad o en extensas vegetaciones. Durante el año puede pasar desapercibido, pero de febrero a abril se cubre de flores amarillas y se hace notar.
