Do you have any matchboxes? And what colored folding leaves? Then you can craft your own colour sample very easily and quickly. But not to light, you know!

Don't you (yet) know the color sample? The Color Sample is a picture book of Anna Llenas (publishing house De Vier Windstreken) and the book is about emotions. Every emotion has a color. The color sample is full of colors and it's confused. With that book, you can learn children in a playful way what emotions are and teach them to sort the colors and give them a spot. In this case, name the feelings, talk about them and put the colored feelings in the right box! But first, find the right facial expressions with the right color. I'm sure you can do that!

The matchbox samples are made very simple. You will only need matchboxes, colored folding leaves, a marker, scissors and glue! For convenience, we have created a template, so that you can keep that next to it if you don't know how to make the face. Do you also make some small colored pieces, drawings, chips, etc.? Or give the matches a colored piece of paper. Then you can put them in the right box. Good for fine motor skills!
