Pasta salad with Pork

This pasta salad always works well at the bbq party, but unfortunately I can never eat it myself. Of course you can also eat it as a meal salad, then this is for about 4 people. The cooking method takes about an hour, after which it has to cool down and then you also have this delicious pasta salad on the table.

    • 500 grams of broccoli
    • 250 grams of bacon
    • 500 grams penne
    • 1 can of ham of the brand salland
    • 80 grams of parmesan cheese
    • 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise of Calve
    • Olive oil that you can use for salad
    • Herbs; paprika powder and a beef broth cube

You can also use your own brands if you like it better. I have tried it with my own brands, only with these brands I like the best.

    • Cooking pan
    • Frying pan
    • Cutting board
    • Colander
    • Laddle
    • A knife to cut the vegetable

    Method of preparation

Cut the broccoli florets off the stem, put it in and boil in boiling water for 10 minutes.

When the broccoli has boiled for 10 minutes, remove the broccoli from the boiling water. The water that has been used is put back on the fire that you use for the penne and will then have to fill with water and then let this water boil again with a boiillion cube.

When the water boils again add the penne and let it boil for 8 minutes. Stir twice in between so that the penne stays loose in the pan and in the meantime let the broccoli cool and finely chop it and remove the peduncles of the broccoli.

Meanwhile, you can also fry the bacon strips in a frying pan without oil, because the bacon is already fat enough of themselves. Sprinkle the paprika powder over the bacon strips to your taste and fry it.

When the penne is cooked, drain it and put a dash of olive oil on top. Stir well and set aside the pan with penne for a while so that it can cool well.

When the bacon is delicious fried, drain it into a colander or a sieve so that the fat drains off the bacon strips and does not get into the salad. You can also set this aside so that it cools down.

When everything is cooling down you can cut the ham into cubes, remove the jelly that is around the ham. This is not good in the salad.

Add the ham, broccoli, penne and bacon strips in a large bowl and mix well. When everything is combined and cooled, add the Parmesan cheese and 5 tablespoons of maynaise to the salad. Stir well, when it has cooled completely, you can put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

    Until next time,
