#programming At the end of March 2021 the new season of Formula 1 begins, I am a regular follower of this sport and since the drivers as cars are fine-tuning the latest details.
These cars are the most sophisticated cars in the world and testing them on the track or in the wind tunnel is an extremely limited activity since there are only three days of preseason test and four hours of practice on the weekend when there is a race.
That's why Formula 1 teams rely on data collection in the virtual world that has become more crucial by the incorporation of new circuits and that the pilot does not know.
There are areas of simulation that F1 teams use to prepare for a Grand Prix weekend, but the two main ones are pilot simulation and computer simulation, this helps develop the car seat, find the right direction of configuration and help drivers get acquainted with a particular circuit in a virtual environment.
The track models used are very detailed. They are generated by lidar scanning, where laser images are used to create a 3D map of the entire circuit and its characteristics, from the surface of the track to the pianos and even the surrounding environment. F1 teams also work with video game companies to make the track environment as realistic as possible.
Preparations are very important and especially vital when visiting a new track, means that the equipment depends more on the collection of information in the simulator, new circuits require a more extensive program. For a previously visited track, a two-day program is usually devoted to the preparation. Simulation work for these unknown circuits begins as soon as the calendar is confirmed, usually six or eight months in advance.
Formula 1 is a world where technology programs make a difference, success or failure depends on.

No sé mucho sobre la fórmula 1, pero me resulta interesante tu artículo, no sabia que ellos practicaban con simuladores

es muy interesante yo me preguntaba que esos pilotos tenían que practicar previamente en esas pistas para familiarizarse con ellas, no consideré la realidad virtual en ese caso
