The males are characterized by the fact that the front parts of the rear segment back 2-5 are unpollinated black to brown and the brushes at the bottom of thigh 3 are not exactly in one line. The females have a ski goggle-like black spot on the forehead, which is wider than high, does not reach the tips and is separated from the eyes by a narrow pollinated strip along the eye edge.
