Fruit barbecue
Nice for the barbecue later!
I once saw a fruit barbecue pass by on the internet and I thought it would be nice to make it myself.
I made it and by chance I was invited to the neighborhoods for a barbecue and I thought that was a great opportunity to bring the fruit barbecue. He has been standing all evening, until after the regular barbecue, and everything was still at the end of the evening.
I used for the barbecue a watermelon, a Galia melon, strawberries, red grapes, fresh pineapple, celery and satay sticks.
First I hollowed out the melon with a melon scoop so that I immediately had balls to string on a satéstick. I used some shavings of the watermelon at the bottom as if they were glowing coals. I made a lattice of celery and legs. They were a bit too weak and they collapsed because of the weight and therefore I reinforced that extra with satay sticks (see picture) and then the barbecue remained standing like a house. All the other fruit I dispute;
I made the lid from the other half of the watermelon and I made the lid and with satay sticks on the side I made sure that the lid was stuck. Really nice to do and nice to see so maybe a nice tip if you have a barbecue later.
