Idea: take a picture of a board and let google lens recognize the text and then translate it online.

A good tip though, although I don't know if he also translates place names ?
We have an old-fashioned roadmap, but if you can't decipher the signposts, it's hard work to find it. The place names are written in plain script on the map, with the Greek underneath in minuscule print.
