Greed. Have to have it.
Have to have it. Wanting to have something because you don't want it to be someone else. Perhaps the most annoying manifestation of greed. Most people will deny that they suffer from it, but I've seen it come along a lot. And especially when it comes to dividing inheritances. The consequences are often unpredictable. People who haven't talked to each other for years because they think they've been done short. Sometimes it's about downright ridiculous trifles. I saw it all come by.
- The people who keep insisting that someone else stole something because it's just gone.
- The people who think they have more rights to business because they have visited pa or ma more often without taking into account everyone's circumstances and possibilities.
- The people who suddenly start to make a painful difference between 'real' family and everything they do not regard as such.
- The people who make huge fuss about something that supposedly has emotional value for them, but disappears directly in the back of a closet or is sold.
