Guests in our bees - hotel!
At the end of last summer we bought a bee hotel and hung it from our fence. Not too high, not on the rain side, little out of the wind. A wonderful place to visit for the wild bees!
What I had read is that it could take a few years before the bees would trust the bee-hotel and take advantage of it.
But look at this! @peerke70 suddenly saw some bees flying this afternoon.
And even one channel has been bricked. There's a series of breeding chambers behind that with enough food for the larvae when they come out. Hard work, and now a matter of time, a matter of patience!
I am very curious how it will develop in the coming period. This makes me so happy, I'm really in love with my garden right now, so wonderful to follow everything that's happening!
