Hans Zimmer

#Iamacreator

One of the most important things in a movie, video, short film etc. It is its setting, and to achieve that we need music to match for the right moments. So that's why I want to talk about an expert in that area: Hans Zimmer.

As I always start by talking a little about his life, Hans Florian Zimmer, better known as Hans Zimmer, was born on 12 September 1957 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany.

He is notable for his composition of cinematographic soundtracks, electronic music and orchestras arrangements. Won the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences Oscar Award for Best Soundtrack in 1995.

He is currently considered one of Hollywood's most outstanding composers, nicknamed by most critics as “the ubiquitous Zimmer” for his many appearances, either as lead composer or as a collaborator in the production of music for film products.

Some of the movies where I work:

Gladiator (2000)
The Lion King (The Lion King, 1994)
Origin (Inception, 2010)
Interstellar (2014)
Pirates of the Caribbean (2003)
Pearl Harbor (2001)
The Man of Steel (2013)

That's to mention a few, because really his phenomenal work has encompassed many more great cinematographic productions, where with his label he manages to give an excellent setting for each film. So surely you've had the experience with his work in some of the movies I mentioned.

As a child he received piano lessons, later he moved to London entering the world of music during a long collaboration with his mentor Stanley Myers. From there he began his passion for music, which currently made him one of the best composers.

Have you seen a movie where his work was performed? Because he really is a genius of musical composition.
