Hello, dear Yoors users!

I am writing this post to introduce you to a movie, called "Happiest Season". It is a Christmas lesbian romantic comedy, directed by Clea DuVall.

The movie is set during the Christmas holidays. Two women, Harper and Abby, are in a serious relationship. Abby, in fact, is planning to propose to Harper. When Harper suggests to Abby to spend the holidays with her family, things don't go as planned at first. Harper hasn't told her parents that she is a lesbian. This causes issues between the two women and they have to face obstacles to keep their relationship.

I had never seen Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis (who play the roles of Abby and Harper respectively) in a movie before, so I didn't know what to expect when it came to them being acting partners, but I thought they had a lot of chemistry and did a wonderful job. I was pleasantly surprised to recognize Victor Garber (playing the role of Ted, Harper's father), having seen him previously in "Annie" and "Cinderella".

Originally, I was excited to watch this movie because I used to idolize Kristen Stewart. I remember her being cast in the movie in early 2019 and could barely wait for more news! Then the movie was filmed just before the pandemic and it was finally released this week. I decided to watch it because I wanted to feel the Christmas spirit, especially since my country is on a lockdown and my exams are right before and after the holidays.

To everyone who loves a good Christmas movie, consider watching "Happiest Season" - I promise you won't be disappointed! P.S. You can find it on Hulu and online!

Thank you for checking out my post! Happy Holidays!
