For a whole year, I went to help with my class monthly in the Samentuin of our municipality, under the management of Velt.

The children were allowed to sow, plant, harvest and process each time.

Our last visit was particularly appreciated.

Among other things, they were allowed to pick strawberries for the homemade pancakes !

@ellesvandenbroek True ! They were also allowed to bottle peas to make them a pea puree. Most did not know that peas are in pods at harvest.

@Michel gewoon michel Yes, we also made pea puree from the peas we picked fresh. A lot of children did not know that peas are in a pod.
