Heat, what measures do you take?
Very warm temperatures are expected in Central Europe on Monday and Tuesday.
The alpaca rescue has canceled all activities because it is not nice for the animals to have to get in the trailer. They get extra baths and umbrellas in their field.
Personally, I keep the curtains closed and have placed an extra parasol in the garden.

It's great, I always find it incredible how heat is absolutely not taken into account in the western world. No siesta, no breaks or refreshing showers at work and certainly no slowed down rhythm.

Since I live in West Flanders and we get code red for today, I stay inside, cook pasta and eggs in the morning to make a fresh salad, I keep windows and doors on and the shutters on the sunny side down

I keep the shutters closed and cool off in the pool. And of course I drink lots of water and tea. But I have to say that I can always handle the heat very well, my husband, on the other hand, has a worse time with it

don't leave my house until Thursday and keep everything closed for as long as possible. At night, everything opens.

I'm going down a gear, and beyond that, I just keep breathing. WorRYING already makes you get warmer ;-)

The curtains have been closed here for a few days, cozy! But I thought I'd start by holding back the heat. Prepared the jacuzzi today for the coming days. For the rest, keep calm, drink water and have a siesta in the afternoon and then it will be all right. And of course Yoorsen!
