Holidays (part 2)

Tuesday 22 September,

The weather was beautiful again and this day we decided to go to Giethoorn. The Venice of the far north. It's funny that my husband said that we went here for the parrots, because we went to Venice twice. Personally, I had never been to Giethoorn before and actually this is one of those Dutch things you should have just been to.

Usually it's very busy there, but now with corona no Chinese. Unfortunately, we did not have such great experiences with Chinese a few years ago in the kitchen court. That they want to take pictures is fine, but they also want to do it a lot and my parrots don't like that. So now no Chinese to confess. On the water was the traffic jam sailing with the boats, but we walked along the paths and that was very good to do. We also found a nice terrace where we have been at ease to have lunch and later in the afternoon some drink his orphans. We also visited Museum Giethoorn. We asked if we could go in with the parrots and after some inquiries we could. Now I think it's a matter if they're sitting on a buggy and wearing a harness. By the way, it is not allowed in every museum, but there was also a part outside, so that might save. It was another wonderful day with a degree of 24 and warm enough for us.

My garden in image, word and music
#mygardenvideo Strangely enough, in the afternoon I made a video of my garden to put it under a yoorsoriginalvideo and then the booster of Henkjan came. I had already incorporated it into 'Movavi Suite' with a little music I generated by the score that I was able to legally download through Musescore and process as mp3. It's about the piece: 'Over the Garden Wall-_Into the Unkown' van 'The Blasting Company' en het wordt in een iets vlugger ritme gespeeld dan het origineel. The text you see is a poem by my hand: 'Under the cherry tree'. I made it on a spring day when I enjoyed my garden, the bushes, my pet and especially my cherry tree which already has some years that start to count. I hope you enjoy it.!

Gambling
To understand this topic I must begin by explaining well what a player is; you are a person with a gambling addiction disorder. - It is like a person addicted to drugs who needs it to feel pleased and satisfied, drugs are for them a compulsion to an irresistible desire, in the same way feels the player who seeks to play constantly and compulsively to satisfy the needs of his brain. When the gambler is deprived of gambling, he feels the same sensation as a drug addict when he cannot consume. That is why dealing with this pathology is not an easy task, like all addictions can be overcome, but we must arm ourselves with a lot of empathy, willpower and motivation to help that person who suffers from this disorder. Here are some tips that could help if we know a person who is going through this situation, but remember that there are specialized professionals to treat these cases. - - Help to understand that there is a problem that is gambling and that resembles substance addiction; Just as the drug addict says he needs drugs to feel better, the gambler needs to gamble compulsively to feel full. They must be guided to understand the situation without reproach or recrimination and thus be able to reverse the situation. It is important not to judge because we know that the person who suffers from gambling feels compelled to play to satisfy their psychological needs So we are going to inquire to know if he is aware of the situation, if he wants to change it, if he knows the damage that is done and does to his environment, if he wants a life without gambling. We achieve all this if we can make him understand that he has a problem, because if he does not understand it, unfortunately it will not be easy for him and you have to be very skillful to make him understand because many times he will deny that he can feel what happens to him with the inconveniences that he faces. It has caused gambling, such as financial, family and work problems, sleep disorders, alcohol consumption, a disorderly life ... in short, a series of situations that drag being a gambler. With all this, he must discover that he is a person with a compulsive pathology for gambling or, what is the same, is a gambler, immediately there is to give him alternatives so that his life improves trying that the time he invested in playing is used in other rewarding activities that They divert you from the game, perhaps practicing a hobby, or doing exercises, doing a sport, reading, doing some activity, being with family and friends. We can help by motivating them because we know that overcoming addictions is complicated and difficult, but by encouraging them to see how beneficial quitting gambling has been for their quality of life, it is very important to give value to the effort they have made to overcome their addiction by reaching each goal Each achievement and progress must be emphasized, no matter how small it is, it is valuable. Be his shoulder and support him because he will live stressful and distressing moments full of anxiety where he will think he cannot move on and will seek to deviate, do not point to him or recriminate him, be empathic with his pain and shake his hand; but you must be firm so that you can climb to a healthy path without addictions.
