I get more and more nice posts about my blogs. I now have more than 130 readers and I really like that.
I'm glad Daddy's home. Because this morning I saw a picture of his colleague's hand. The only Dutchman left behind in India. On his hand a stamp with Home Quarantined and the date until when he has to quarantine. He's not sick. He has no fever. But he's a Dutchman. Fortunately, he can continue working in his hotel room. When Dad was still in India, his temperature was measured every time before he was allowed into the hotel.
Mama had contact with Monique in South Africa. Monique was our au pair for a year and took care of my brother Noud and taught my sisters when they were not allowed to go to school. Monique teaches at a school in South Africa and told me that the schools there are also closing tonight at 6 p.m. The parents are very angry with the teachers there and blame the teachers.
Today I'm going to try to call video with Grandpa Chris. Grandpa Chris is an old colleague of Dad's and I met him in Singapore. He says we can call him Grandpa Chris. Grandpa Chris has been working with Dutch people for a long time and speaks a lot of languages. He also speaks a bit Dutch, but has only been to the Netherlands once. I'd like to ask Grandpa Chris how strict the rules in Singapore are now with the Corona. Because I would like to use that for my work.
Yesterday I did schoolwork. But I was stupid to start at the top. I got very difficult sums, but it wasn't until later that the easier assignments were on the bottom. After my school work I was allowed to make a fire in my own welded garden heater. I made the stove with Dad last winter. He taught me how to weld. I like welding very much. I thawed the feed the dogs on the stove. I burned my old leather work I don't need anymore. That always feels really good. If I have had a topo test and I still have the leather from it, I always burn it because it feels very good to get rid of it.
