All sorts of facts about an ordinary pencil

We all use pencils, to write and draw. But what do I know about pencils? I have one in my hands (almost) every day, so I went into it a little further.

What is the pencil a nifty thing! It is fine to use and on all kinds of surfaces. The pencil is nice cheap, finely erasable, easy to sharpen with a sharpener. Children can also use it safely. Also, there is often a eraser at the end, which I always find very handy because I always lost my eraser. If you drop the pencil, the marker inside can break. And then you keep sharpening. Tip: If you buy a more expensive pencil, the marker better glued inside and you're less bothered by that.
