To me the entrance of COVID impacted me on different areas. It introduced fear in my life, but also a bit of discipline.
It made me care about washing my hands, while I never did. But it also made me jumpy whenever I see someone cough or sneeze without covering their mouth, while that never bothered me before.
But what impacted me the most is how my country handled COVID and the measures they took in order to contain it. We went on a partial lockdown, which caused more damage than good. At first it seemed as if a lot of people were still allowed to do everything they wanted, while small businesses were the ones who suffered the downfall.
This caused the amount of cases to rise drastically. After the amount of cases rose to a worrying extent, finally we decided to introduce a curfew and temporary closure of a lot of restaurants and stores. I would not say that it was too late, but since a lot of small stores already had to declare themselves bankrupt because of the partial lockdown, it felt like this could've been prevented.
The impact the measures had on my life:

Eventually I was wrapped up and in small cohorts, residents on their apartment.
The infected residents went to the corona unit, many residents died, colleagues got sick. Also from the notorious lung covid some suffer.
Now everyone is vaccinated we go back to how it was.
Private, I dodged people not to bring corona to work, but when Corona was at work, I dodged my family (parcel evening on the phone with grandchildren)
Furthermore, we have always seen the children and grandchildren because there was a lot of testing at work.
Because I have girlfriends with a vulnerable health we haven't seen each other for a while, called etc.. I haven't seen my brother who lives in Germany for a long time.
Because there was a lot to work I didn't get bored for a moment, in January we gave home education to our 3 grandchildren 2 days a week.
All in all an exciting period.
Now, after that long time, you start to get yourself a feeling of, “God, it may all be over soon.”. I only see my kids with little sisters and never together. On Mother's Day we will organize something outside later, luckily we can now be together with 10. Fortunately, both myself and later my wife got our first shot and we feel a little safer. I'm a risk patient myself, so you don't want to get into the ICU.
Then in Belgium you will see La Boum 1 and 2 and later maybe 3, with thousands of people coming together in protest without taking care of corona measures. Yeah, then it tickles a little bit..
All this makes us extremely cautious. We feel safe in Hungary. A quiet village and there is a lot to do on the old farm. The language is difficult and when the radio is on, we hear Corona but we don't understand most of it yet. That gives less worries. Discover the area with many walks. Often nice weather here. We are not bored for a moment. Is there corona? Oh, yeah.! On the BVN news it penetrates us again in the evening.
We get groceries for 2 weeks and when we do jobs, the building materials are brought home. We have a lot of distractions and that's a good thing.
We avoid contacts as much as possible. Not cozy but that's exactly what we're very careful about. We get to know Dutch, Belgians and Hungarians online. When it happens again, we will definitely visit people again. In good weather in the garden, because it still seems safer.
We think of the cousins how they fought to get on top of it, how it could end up fatal, so much grief in the family, with friends and family. Careful, stay careful.
There is still so much to do; write and read on Yoors, cook and bake, work, prepare the vegetable garden again and eat, walk and photograph. Positive and enjoy.
I learned to teach online lessons without having taken a course beforehand.
I had to be very flexible, because the rules change about every month for schools.
My work continued to provide shelter but only to vital professions.
That's how I didn't see a whole bunch of kids for a long time.
Furthermore, at work I got covid and I was quite ill. Last week I was there for 2 hours overdue
(Plus everything you wrote)
I didn't know from where to begin , I didn't know how to change and how to be happy .
Moreover , things seem so hard to me and I need financial support to save myself from destruction.
That's why I logged in this website and started from zero , posting about my real feelings , talk everything out to move on and to gain money through it.
A Queen isn't someone having everything and people working for her .
But she's someone who needs herself more than anything and she is trying her best to survive and make the workd see who she's really is.
They are asking me to post 20 words in order to gain 40 YP , is this how it works now ? being obliged and ruled to post about things you have no informations about and I always wish I succeed in whatever I am doing .
thank you for your attention.
We learned to take care of ourselves and our loved ones.
We learned to be tolerant and responsible.
I could name as many things as you because without a doubt this has been a great lesson.
In my day to day the truth does not really change, I have been a person being at home since I have use of reason so closing places of recreation I don't feel so much, but what if I change in my was the desire to go ahead despite everything.
I also have to get tested on corona a lot since my friend lives in the Netherlands and I live in Belgium. Are one of the mandatory measures in Belgium and this is also quite heavier than you think. Especially if you've had to have it done so many times that you've lost count, but hey all for love!
