How to delete a TikTok Account

TikTok's users have access to some of the most interesting stuff online. It's a fantastic way of discovering new talents and staying up with cultural trends, with around 1 billion users worldwide. TikTok, on the other hand, may be addictive because of its precisely personalized, never-ending recommendations.

If you find yourself browsing through TikTok obsessively, you might want to delete your account. To completely deactivate TikTok, follow the steps outlined below.

Remember that deleting your account is irreversible. All of your uploads, viewing history, followers, and likes will be deleted from the platform forever. Even if you cancel your account, certain persons may still be able to see your chat messages or direct messages.

1. Go to your profile tab
Tap the icon labelled "Me" in the bottom right-hand corner.

2. Tap the "..." icon to access your settings

3. Tap "Manage my Account"

4. Tap "Delete account" at the bottom of the screen

After you do this, follow the on-screen prompt to confirm you want to permanently delete your account. If your Google account is linked to your TikTok, you may need to pass an email verification test. Otherwise, your account will be erased as soon as you hit confirm!
