A month ago I asked here for suggestions for cool books to take with you on a trip.

Most of the suggestions that came in the comments were books I already knew.
Ankle @ElisabethsKitchen 👩‍🍳 actually gave me a new name and gave me the idea of 'I'm leaving - thrillers'.
Nice to read on a trip, because they go about leaving to another country.
I even ordered 'Chateau de Provence', but it didn't come until the day I left.
It's still on my reading this summer stack.
Meanwhile, I read another story of the same writer: 'Ciao Sicilia'.
Nice story for when you want relaxation and still looking for some thriller.
Not too difficult, just like pool reading or before going to bed!

These two were supposed to be replaced, and I found them in the library. I read “Vive la France.”

My judgment: very weak, simple story. Few characters and few surprising plot twists. If you read the summary on the back flap, you already know 3/4 of the story. Much more is not happening. This writer won't be on my other lists anymore...

'Pain au chocolat' was a bit more interesting, but still not what I really like to read. Also this writer is no longer eligible.
