If it goes different than planned,
You must know it all, you have something in your head how something is going to be, what something should be like, what something should look like, or what it should be meant for. But then all of a sudden you throw everything over the bow, and suddenly everything starts to look different. So this is what I have now. About 3 years ago we built a large part in the basement (garden runs down), a pretty nice large space, with a corridor to the outside, and possibly a space separate where a toilet can enter. So this room was meant for my salon years ago, for my work. My own hair salon. But since things turned out a little differently, I decided to keep working outpatiently, as I always did. And I like that just fine. Since the #corona my friend used the space to work there quietly. But he didn't like this anyway, and prefers to sit on top of one of the guest rooms. - Fine. Space is empty... now I have always had my dream of having my own, cozy studio ever since I draw/painter. Have even considered renting a space anywhere. But this is unpayable. So, the room downstairs is empty now, and I'm going to make this my studio. We're going to make a ceiling in this weekend, a self-leveling floor, and paints, heating in it, and you're done. I'm counting the days down. I'm on the Internet orienting myself to cupboard space, stuff ect...
Through marketplace I found a super cabinet for a pockie, some nice stuff scored here and there ( #kringloop especially). And that makes me happy. It's wonderful when you have something for yourself. Where I can do my thing undisturbed. Because at the dining table here in our living room is anything but practical. In my studio I can leave my things and continue tomorrow. Candle with it, music in the background, and I can start with what I really want. Painting.

Lijkt me super om inderdaad voor je hobby een aparte ruimte te hebben, zeker een hobby als schilderen. Mijn huis is er te klein voor, maar ik schilder ook niet hahaha. Dus ik zit vaak aan de eettafel, zeker wel met een muziekje ook 😊

Mooi! Ideaal een eigen atelier. Mooie schilderijen. Als ik creatief bezig ben, zet ik ook meestal een muziekje op.
