If the universe is infinite, then why is there only one word for it?
Maybe because the people who named it ran out of creative ideas! Or maybe because they couldn't agree on anything else. I mean, who wouldn't get tired of coming up with names for all those planets and stars out there? But maybe, just maybe, the reason there's only one word for the universe is because there's only one universe! After all, if there were more than one, wouldn't we have different names for them? Or maybe the aliens have their own word for it, but they're not sharing it with us. Either way, it's a mystery we may never solve, but at least we can have some fun with it.

I've always liked the word universe, but I've never thought about why there is only one word.
